MEET THE AUTHOR
I started blogging when I was 15 while I was still trying to self-discover, and unless you go back in time, there is not a chance that you will find anything remotely written by a younger version of me. This is the most evolving blog that probably carries the biggest void. I have a background in Public Relations and I have been exploring the field minutely here in the Maldives. I am a walking oxymoron. Despite my background, I am not a digital junkie and there is a sense of empowerment to that. Well at least for me. Some would say, knowing the web and media landscape, I had seen enough. My true calling lies in writing, movie analysis and continuously discovering my own brand whether it be personally or professionally. I could list the awards and the honors I have achieved till date, but I would say that my truest achievement was learning to overcome imposter syndrome and being honestly and genuinely masterful to the art of being 'unanxious'.
WHAT I WISH TO DO FOR MYSELF
To let go and be authentically me. When I am 30, there shall be no regrets.

PACK SOME ESSENTIALS WITH ME: OFF TO THULUSDHOO | LADY TULIP

Hello Dolls & Gents,

I'm finally heading back to Thulusdhoo, just for one night, but it’s been way too long. For my international readers, Thulusdhoo is a little slice of paradise: a local island with surfy charm, stunning turquoise lagoons, and laid-back barefoot cafés. It’s everything you’d want from a quick escape.

Now, let’s get into packing. This is going to be a super chill post. Lately, my approach to creating content has been shifting, and I don’t feel the need to recommend every single item I’m bringing along. But you’re absolutely welcome to peek inside my bag.

Starting off with the vessel. I love carrying this compact waterproof duffel bag from Aeris for short travels. I'd say that it serves as the perfect travel sidekick for any beauty enthusiast.

The garment storage compartment helps to securely pack a couple of outfits with the hanger still in place. Ensuring that my clothes stay wrinkle free until I arrive at my destination. This also leaves more room to pack other essentials. Best of all, this bag is waterproof.

Here are some items I have packed today. My routine does not change specifically for island trips, as I already live by the sea. The duffel bag comes with its own shoe bag. I use it to store all my beauty essentials as I usually don't travel with more than one pair of shoes (usually a pair of white crocs).

I also love packing some sheet face masks.

For jewelry I am mixing and matching silver and gold. I do this a lot because I love the way it looks. I will be taking this Labradorite Stone Necklace from Oevaali Art Shop. This gaia stone pendant is gorgeous and it reflects the most wonderful iridescent green under the light.

To smell cute, I also packed my current favorite perfume.

I also cannot leave behind my trusted waterproof phone pouch. More so than snapping photos and videos, my favorite sport is to sit underwater and to blast Ariana Grande playlists. The bass feels magical underwater and her sound turns into transient echoes as the waves carry the vibrations.

A small hat for island strolls, and a larger hat to protect my face while I am in the ocean.

Along with this, I will be packing 1 swimsuit, 1 pajama and an outfit for dinner.
